Which signature image formats can I upload?
You can upload a static PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. Empty files, mismatched file types, and animated images are rejected.
How do I remove white paper behind a signature?
Upload the image and adjust Background tolerance. Increase it until light paper disappears, but stop before thin ink starts to fade.
Will the downloaded signature have a transparent background?
Yes. RealScaner crops empty space and exports a bounded PNG with transparent pixels around the visible signature.
Can I copy the signature directly?
Yes, when your browser supports writing PNG images to the clipboard. If it does not, download the PNG instead.
What does Sign a PDF do?
It stores the prepared signature in this browser session and opens the RealScaner workspace. If browser storage is blocked, download the PNG and add it manually.
